Ceilidhs galore
We’ve had a quiet couple of months, but now it’s May (and the sun’s out) we’re heading into the summer wedding season. We’ve got plenty of ceilidhs booked for the coming months, including several at Tyninghame log cabin near Dunbar, which is always a lovely venue for a celebration.
We still have a few dates available over the summer – you can check our availability on our online band calendar if you are thinking of booking the band.
Da Hooley is available for ceilidh bookings in 2012
We tend to find that as soon as the New Year celebrations are over, folk are phoning us to book us for their ceilidhs in the coming year. If you’re planning an event, you can check our availability on the Da Hooley ceilidh band gigs page. Please book early if you are planning an event such as a wedding or family celebration that is on a fixed date – we sometimes get booked up over a year in advance.
Although the band is based in Edinburgh, we’re happy to travel. if you’d like to find out more, please contact the band. We look forward to hearing from you!
New site launched
That’s it, the new website is officially launched. Phew!
And tonight we’re off to play for the annual Stuart’s Melville Pipe Band fundraising ceilidh. I’ve lost count of exactly how many years we’ve been playing for the school, but we love doing it. One of the highlights is getting to hear the pipe band play in the break, and watching the amazing manoeuvres of the drumming section. They always have some seriously impressive coordination going on!
